Hiding Behind One Imaginary State
Those conceptualizing an imaginary threat of a Brahminical state are in fact the ones who took away a sizable portion of this land and started to build one religious state for their own religious brotherhood, they named it “Pakistan”, the land of Puritan Muslims. They are the ones who almost wiped out the Non Muslim minorities from their land of Islamic brotherhood. The same people and their allies in Kashmir made the entire valley totally free of it's aboriginal Hindu population by engineering their exodus through terrorism from the state. They are the ones who preferred to stay back in a land which they thought would not tolerate or accommodate them. Contrary to this misplaced belief which caused a big divide, Muslims today are not only a thriving second majority here but are given more than one equal status in all respects, more in the sense that certain privileges which are not available to Brahmins or any of the majority Hindus are made available to them and reserved for them as minorities. They have multiplied their numbers 4 times in population. They have made exemplary progress in all aspects of economic, social, educational, political ambit to the extent that they have risen to very commanding positions in all spheres of life. They enjoy a kind of religious freedom which is not even extended to certain sects of Muslims in most of the Islamic Countries.
Constitution does not reserve any special privilege to a Brahmin. Neither are Brahmins anywhere selectively near such commanding positions in any of institutions merely on the consideration of being Brahmins, however in many ways and means such privileges are given to many other sections of society on different considerations of caste, tribe, or backwardness. A very miniscule minority of Parsi Indians have made Indians proud by their contribution to Indian economy, art and science, Armed forces and business.
The problem with such Muslims whether educated or Illiterate who are thinking about only their own exclusive existence and are in denial of a collective human diversity is their aspirations for a 7th century Mullah rule in place of a modern state based on equality, fraternity, democracy and freedom of thought. This kind of systems is against the tenets of Quranic Rule. Quran is more or less strictly a book of rules than any religion. These rules are today directly in conflict with one inclusive society modern scientific society because the world has leaped a lot forward from the medieval times, therefore all Christians, Hindus, Jews, I mean all non Muslims who may have understood the importance of a collective world and inclusive world stand totally against the freedom of Islamic rule. To rule without even an iota of criticism of opposition to it's viability, acceptability or plausibility in modern day world. That drives the Muslims to raise all conflicts under different excuses and involve the entire world around these conflicts which are deeply rooted in the religious extremism and obstinate will to enslave others to your religious dictates. This conflict is not just a conflict of civilizations but more so a conflict wherein rest of the world has reconciled to the falsity of religious dictates, and very intelligently kept it away from the political and economic state, Muslims by and large are still glued to a religious dispensation which is totally in contrast to a modern state of affairs.
The conflict is therefore not that of a Muslim or Non-Muslim only but of a dichotomy of accepting all the fruits of modern world created mostly by the science and technology on the one hand (even though contrary to the very beliefs of Islam) and denying all the scientific temper which promotes the societies of scientists and technologies at the same.
The denial in front of pandemic to accept a scientific approach to this problem proves this kind of mind-set working against the very interest of a rational, scientific society.
To rise to the need of the time and create scientific temper among the ranks is therefore the need of the hour.
